Why Le Feu Skin

Two weeks after my wedding, my life changed forever. I was in an off-road vehicle accident when the vehicle I was in leaked fuel into the engine and suddenly burst into flames—while I was still inside. I suffered second- and third-degree burns over 15% of my upper body, mainly my arms and shoulders.
I was rushed to a local ER where they quickly dressed my wounds and sent me on my way. But out of fear of infection, we drove straight to the Irvine Burn Unit. They admitted me immediately and kept me in the ICU for five days.
Five days of excruciating “burn bath” scrubs, constant dressing changes, and intense wound care.
Before being discharged, I underwent an experimental procedure using a pig skin graft—essentially acting as an artificial scab while my skin healed underneath. It definitely sparked a lot of conversations, to say the least.
Once the initial wounds healed, I was sent home with simple instructions: use non-scented lotion, eat fatty foods to help rebuild skin elasticity… and that was about it. But something didn’t sit right with me.
I had always lived a clean, organic lifestyle and used natural skincare, so I decided to take healing into my own hands. My mom and I began researching natural ways to support skin recovery. Together, we created a lotion made with whole, natural, 100% organic ingredients—simple, intentional, and effective. After a lot of trial and error, we developed something I truly swear by.
To this day, it’s the only thing I’ve used on my skin since my burns.
